Welcome to the ScaleUp Business Pitch Challenge!

The ScaleUp Business Pitch Challenge offers an unparalleled opportunity for early-stage Nigerian businesses to receive essential financial support, mentorship, and exposure, while also contributing to the broader economic development of Nigeria’s SME ecosystem.

This competition provides a unique opportunity for small businesses and startups to secure up to ₦3 million in grants and participate in an accelerator program to further grow and scale their ventures. At the end of the program, one business will receive an additional ₦5 million grant for the Best Pitch Award.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Registered business in Nigeria with at least 6 months of operations.

  • Must be operating within the following sectors: Agriculture, Technology, Fashion & Lifestyle, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, or Services.

  • Have a clear business model and growth potential.

  • Able to demonstrate the impact of the grant on business scaling.

Key Benefits for Selected Applicants:

  • ₦3 million grant to 10 businesses.

  • Access to a 3-month accelerator program featuring mentorship, workshops, and expert-led sessions.

  • Pitch to a panel of angel investors at the Demo Night.

  • An additional ₦5 million award to the best business pitch during the final event.

Application Process:

  1. Complete Application Form: Submit your business details using the form below.

  2. Business Plan and financials Submission: Prepare and upload a concise business plan and financials summary using our provided template.

  3. Review and Selection: Applications will be assessed based on innovation, business viability, market potential, and team strength.

  4. Shortlisting: Successful applicants will be contacted for further evaluation.
